Translators, Editors and Proofreaders

We continuously distribute millions of words to a large number of translators, editors and proof-readers on a worldwide basis. However, we do have certain specific requirements for our freelance contractors. Unless you meet these requirements, do not forward your resume, because it will not be taken into consideration!

Requirements:

You must translate INTO your native language.

A technical translation degree and/or

Three (3) years of technical translation experience.

Trados

Internet Access

Email must be checked at least once per day.

Two references to verify your experience

How do we operate?

First the important part: WE PAY WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM RECEIPT OF THE INVOICE!!! When an assignment is offered to you, you will be informed about the fees, deadline, specific requirements, etc. before you accept any assignment. As for confidentiality agreements, we work on the honor system and we expect our contractors to respect this. The exception to this rule applies only upon customer requests for specific projects. However, you will be provided with a copy before anything is sent to you and the decision will be yours. We don't require test translations. We rather provide initially small assignments, which you will be paid accordingly. These assignment are extensively reviewed and you will receive a critique from us.
